Blessing & Commissioning Mass 2025

On Sunday, Bishop Crosby graced us with his presence during the 11:30 Mass. He gave a lovely blessing to graduating students, calling them to bring what they have learned about faith into the world. This was also a time for Fr. Gregory to bless the outgoing Student Executive Committee and commission the new Exec for 2025–26. We are all profoundly grateful for the leadership and work the Exec has done this past year, and look forward in hope to the Spirit’s presence among those taking leadership positions next year.

We also took a moment to recognize Sr. Mary, who will be retiring from the senior leadership team this June. Bishop Crosby presented her with the Diocesan Medal of Honour —recognizing her years of faithful ministry. In a way, Sr. Mary too is “graduating” out of her tenure at Canadian Martyrs, and the moment gently marked the beginning of her transition.
