Altar Server Awards

Congratulations to Raphael Serrao who received the prestigious altar server medal awarded by the Serra Club at a Mass presided over by Bishop Crosby. Raph was nominated for this award by Canadian Martyrs for his years of faithful service and leadership role in this very important ministry. Raph’s sisters, Joann and Rachel, who serve as lectors and in various Chaplaincy ministries were there to celebrate with him. The president of the Serra Club made a special point in her remarks to thank the parents at the Mass for their support and encouragement of their children. Canadian Martyrs would also add their thanks to Jenes and Steve for supporting their children in their faith development and encouraging their generous service here at the parish and with the chaplaincy.
