33 Days to Morning Glory: A Marian Consecration
On August 15th, the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 12 parishioners consecrated themselves to Jesus through Mary. Over the previous six weeks, they prepared for this by engaging with Fr. Michael Gaitley’s 33 Days to Morning Glory personal retreat program. Through daily prayer and reflection, and learning from the teachings of St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximillian Kolbe, St. Teresa of Calcutta and St. John Paul II, they prepared their hearts and minds to offer their whole selves to Our Blessed Mother Mary, so that she can bring them into a deeper relationship with her Son, Jesus, and help them to truly live out their baptismal promises and be more faithful to discerning and performing God’s will in their lives.
It was an exciting day, and we thank everyone who attended Mass for witnessing and praying for us!
