Quarterly Parish Financial Report
At Canadian Martyrs, our parish and community life is made possible by the generosity, time, and faith of our members. We are grateful to everyone who contributes to the life of our church, whether through regular donations, special gifts, volunteering, or supporting our many ministries.
Our main financial report is published annually in Gloria Dei. To help keep parishioners informed throughout the year and encourage a shared sense of responsibility for our spiritual home, we are introducing Quarterly Parish Financial Reports. This approach gives a picture of our finances over three months, which captures the monthly and quarterly nature of much of the income we receive and the operating costs we are responsible for.
You will notice that our finances are organized in two distinct funds. Our Operating Fund supports the day-to-day life of the parish, including staffing, utilities, administration, and the upkeep of our church and facilities. The Building Fund is dedicated to the maintenance and improvement of our parish property as a shared spiritual home for generations to come. Last year, our Stewards of Our Spiritual Home Campaign raised funds to replenish the Building Fund following a significant investment in the maintenance of our stained-glass windows.
