Canadian Martyrs Elementary School Graduation Mass : Gallery and Reflection

Our parish welcomed the students of Canadian Martyrs Catholic Elementary School last Wednesday for their annual Graduation Mass. The student lectors did a wonderful job proclaiming the readings with confidence and reverence.

In his homily, Father Gregory reflected on the many changes and new beginnings that students face, especially those who are set to begin high school in the Fall. He reminded them that they can face the future with confidence, knowing that God is always with them, and encouraged them to draw upon the spiritual resources that will serve them throughout their lives: compassion, patience, gratitude, forgiveness, and love.

At the conclusion of Mass, Father Gregory offered a special blessing to the graduating class. He also included Mr. Ziliotto and Mrs. Barret, who will be moving on at the end of the school year, recognizing their dedicated service to the Canadian Martyrs school community.

Our sincere thanks to the teachers and staff for their faithful partnership throughout the school year. By bringing students to our regular Thursday school Masses and helping to foster their faith, they continue to strengthen the close relationship between our parish and school.

And congratulations to all of our Grade 8 graduates! We wish you every blessing as you begin this exciting new chapter.
