Sr. Mary McIntyre asks for your prayers for her Congregation, the Sisters of St. Joseph in Canada, as they gather for their Chapter of Affairs and Elections this week. This important meeting, held only once every four years, sets the direction for the Congregation until the next Chapter. The Chapter will take place from Sunday, October 5 to Friday, October 10.

St. Mary’s DREAMS Fundraiser Dance
You’re invited to join the St. Mary Catholic Secondary School community for a night of fun, relaxation, and making a difference!

The event supports St. Mary’s DREAMS program (Dominican Republic Education and Medical Support), now in its 27th year. This year, 55 students are preparing to travel to San José de Ocoa, Dominican Republic, to help build homes for families in need.

Please pray for the men and women of our diocese who are discerning their vocations to marriage, priesthood, the permanent diaconate, the dedicated single life, and consecrated life, that is, as a consecrated virgin living in the world, or as a religious priest, sister or sister. Since it is also the month of Our Lady of the Rosary, you are encouraged to offer the Rosary, in particular, the Luminous Mysteries, for vocations.
