Winter Leadership Retreat: Please Pray for Our University Students

This weekend, students from the Saint Kateri University Student Centre will be gathering for their Winter Leadership Retreat. The retreat will take place from Sunday through Monday and will be an important opportunity for students to step away from the busyness of the semester to pray, reflect, and spend time together in community.

The theme for this year’s retreat is “Artists of the Kingdom.” Throughout the weekend, students will be reflecting on how God calls each person to help shape and build the life of the Church. Just as artists use their gifts to create something meaningful, these students will be discerning how they can use their own talents, energy, and leadership to contribute to the life of the chaplaincy and the wider Church.

A particular focus of the retreat will be helping students prayerfully consider how they can best engage with the student centre and its mission in the months ahead. For many of them, this is a time of discernment—asking where their gifts can serve others, how they can strengthen the community, and how they can help welcome new students into the life of faith.

We invite our parish community to keep these students in your prayers over the coming days. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide their conversations, deepen their friendships, and give them clarity about how they are being called to serve.

Our chaplaincy is a great gift to the parish, and these students play an important role in its life. Your prayers and encouragement mean a great deal to them.

Please join us in praying that this retreat will be a time of renewal, inspiration, and joyful discovery as these young people continue to grow in faith and leadership.
