Our parish was pleased to participate in this year’s Mental Well-Being Fair hosted by Canadian Martyrs Catholic Elementary School. The annual event brought students together for a day focused on wellness, reflection, creativity, and community.

Father Gregory took part in the opening ceremonies, offering a blessing and prayer for the students, staff, and organizers as the day began. Throughout the event, students participated in a variety of interactive workshops exploring wellness through art, music, play, creation, relaxation, Indigenous traditions, and prayer.

Our parish hosted the “Wellness Through Prayer” workshop at the church, led by Carmelina Biundo, Elementary Religion and Family Life Consultant. The session invited students to reflect on the importance of prayer, peace, and faith in daily life.

We are grateful to the organizers, staff, and volunteers who made the day possible and thankful for the opportunity to support the well-being of students in our Catholic school community.
