Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

As we prepare to enter the month of June, traditionally dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Bishop Joseph Dabrowski invites all the faithful of the Diocese to renew this beautiful devotion. Rooted in the Gospel, devotion to the Sacred Heart draws us to contemplate the personal, healing, and transforming love of Christ. Please read our Bishop’s pastoral letter prayerfully and join us in this devotion.

We invite you to say this prayer at the beginning of each day:

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day for all of the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the holy sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in thanksgiving for your favours, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all my family and friends, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father, Amen.

At Canadian Martyrs, we will pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus every Friday in June at 11:15 a.m., at the start of Adoration. Please join us.
