Outstanding Response to Our Summer Food Drive
Thank you to everyone who supported our Summer Food Drive in aid of Good Shepherd's Emergency Food Program. Thanks to the generosity of our parish community, we collected an overflowing, forklift-sized produce bin filled with non-perishable food items and toiletries, along with more than $100 in cash donations.
Our collection came in response to Good Shepherd's appeal for help during the summer months. While many associate food insecurity with the winter, the need remains just as urgent throughout the summer, making the support of local communities especially important. Over the summer, many of our neighbours turn to Good Shepherd for nourishing meals, clean clothing, fresh water, shelter, and compassionate care.
The response of our parish is a beautiful witness to our faith in action. Every donation will help bring hope and practical assistance to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. May God bless all those who gave so generously, and may He continue to inspire us to serve Christ by serving one another, especially those most in need.
