The Month of June is Dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
The Church dedicates the month of June to the Sacred Heart of Jesus—the living sign of Christ’s infinite love for humanity. In the Heart of Jesus, we encounter both the source of Divine Mercy and the call to love as He loves.
This month, Bishop Dabrowski invites us to place the Sacred Heart at the center of our homes, and continue offering daily this prayer:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day for all of the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the holy sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in thanksgiving for your favours, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all my family and friends, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father, Amen.
At Canadian Martyrs, we will pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus every Friday in June at 11:15 a.m., at the start of Adoration. Please join us.
Additional prayers and resources for the Month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus are available on the diocesan website.
