Celebrate the joy of the season at the Canadian Martyrs Elementary Advent/Christmas Mass! The CWL will be preparing small gifts for each student, and parents are warmly welcomed to join!

Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. We invite you to join us for Mass on Wednesday, February 18 at either 12:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.
Our parish will be joined by the students of Canadian Martyrs Catholic Elementary for the 12:30 p.m. Mass. All are welcome to come and begin the Lenten journey together.

First Reconciliation
Our Canadian Martyrs Catholic Elementary School students are preparing for their First Reconciliation! This important sacrament is a beautiful opportunity for the children to experience God's love and forgiveness as they take their next step in faith.
We ask that you keep the students in your prayers as they prepare for this special day of grace.

At our regular Sunday Mass on May 10, the children of Canadian Martyrs Catholic Elementary School will be receiving their First Communion.
This is a beautiful milestone for our young parishioners and their families, and we look forward to celebrating as a community. Please join us in prayer and support for the children on this special day.

Canadian Martyrs Elementary School Year Opening Mass
On Thursday, September 11 at 12:30 p.m., we will celebrate a special Mass to open the new school year together with the students and staff of Canadian Martyrs Catholic Elementary School.
As a parish community, we look forward to praying with the children and asking God’s blessing on the year ahead.

Special Blessing For the New Academic Year
A new school year brings fresh beginnings and new opportunities for growth. This weekend at each of our parish Masses (Saturday, 5:15 pm; Sunday 11:30 am & 8:00 pm), Fr. Gregory will offer a special blessing for students and faculty of McMaster University, as well as the students and staff of Canadian Martyrs Catholic Elementary School.
Parishioners, students, parents, and families are warmly invited to attend and join us in prayer as we ask God’s blessing on the year ahead, that it may be filled with learning, friendship, and grace.

CMCES Graduation Mass
We will welcome our Canadian Martyrs Elementary School community on Wednesday, for their Grade 8 Graduation Mass. All are invited to join us, as we gather to celebrate the remarkable achievements of these young individuals and bid them farewell as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
We also acknowledge the support and guidance provided by the dedicated faculty, staff, and parents who have nurtured and mentored these students. Their commitment has played a pivotal role in shaping their characters and preparing them for the next stage of their lives.
As we celebrate their achievements, we recognize that the journey does not end here. Our faith community extends its support and blessings as these graduates venture forth into their respective high school communities. With the values instilled within them, we have confidence that they will continue to thrive and positively impact the world around them.
To the graduates, we offer our heartfelt congratulations. Remember the lessons learned, the friendships forged, and the love and guidance that have shaped you into exceptional individuals. Embrace the challenges ahead with courage, faith, and determination, knowing that you carry within you the values and teachings imparted during your time at Canadian Martyrs.
