CWL Yard Sale – Call for Donations
The Catholic Women’s League is getting ready for a fall Yard Sale, happening on Saturday, September 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the parking lot.
We’re currently collecting donations of gently used items to be sold at the sale. If you’re clearing out closets, storage rooms, or garages this summer, please consider donating! We welcome household items, kitchenware, books, small furniture, toys, decor, tools, and more. (Please no clothing, electronics, or large furniture.)
For your convenience, donations can be dropped off in the church hall before and after Masses on the weekends of August 23/24 and August 30/31.
Proceeds from the sale will go toward supporting CWL initiatives and parish projects. Thank you for your generosity!

CWL Yard Sale
Come out and find some treasures at the Catholic Women’s League Yard Sale! Join us on Saturday, September 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the parking lot.
There’ll be a wide variety of gently used items available—books, household goods, toys, small furniture, tools, and more. Whether you’re on the hunt for something specific or just love a good bargain, there’s something for everyone.
All proceeds support the work of the CWL and parish initiatives. Bring a friend, spread the word, and stop by to browse and support a good cause!
Summer Food Drive
In partnership with our Catholic Women’s League, we’re hosting a Summer Food Drive to support Good Shepherd Hamilton.
Food banks often face shortages during the summer, as donations tend to come in around Thanksgiving and Christmas but drop off in the warmer months. This is our chance to help fill that gap and support our neighbours in need.
Donations will be collected beneath the statue of St. Joseph at the base of the sanctuary, starting at the 5:15 p.m. Mass on Saturday, June 21, and continuing through the 11:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday. We’ll keep collecting until Friday, June 27.
Most Needed Items:
Non-Perishable Food:
Canned proteins (tuna, salmon, chicken, beans, lentils)
Canned vegetables and fruit
Peanut butter and other nut butters
Pasta and pasta sauce
Rice and instant noodles
Cereal and oatmeal
Soup and stew (especially hearty or ready-to-eat)
Shelf-stable milk or milk alternatives
Crackers and granola bars
Baby food and formula
Personal Care & Household Items:
Toothpaste and toothbrushes
Soap and shampoo
Deodorant
Feminine hygiene products
Toilet paper
Diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6) and baby wipes

Spring Flower Sale
Spring is here, and the Canadian Martyrs Catholic Women's League is thrilled to announce our upcoming flower sale! We will be selling beautiful Boston ferns, bright geraniums in red, white, and hot pink, stunning osteospermum daisies in purple and pink, and vibrant Montgomery ivy!
Orders due May 11, 2023
Pick-up will be after Masses on Sunday, May 14th.
By purchasing from our flower sale, you are supporting the Catholic Women's League and its various charity initiatives.
If you have larger orders or need assistance with delivery, we've got you covered. We offer free delivery on Saturday, May 13th for these cases.
